AHA! Shazaam!  - notice that the answer was right in the question?

Understanding what you can do with a BAT is just like this puzzle. Once you see the answer, you can't go back to your former beliefs - just like Moses.
It's said; "a genius is someone that can explain complex things in simple terms". We'll attempt to use what you already know to smash the idea that you need 'technical' skills to update and run a sophisticated tool. We'll show you that you already have the skills needed. They're simply; "cut & paste" or "type and click". That's it.

A True Story:
The owner of the first FAX machine must have been quite the visionary. The cost was many times more expensive than today's FAX machines and WHO was he going to FAX? The price was high and the value was really low.

In contrast; the price of today's FAX machines are low and the value is high. You can FAX almost everywhere. Today, we consider a company without a FAX to be challenged!

Beliefs change over time. Even about complex tasks like Administrating a tiny or a huge web site. What we've done is flip the paradigm of web skills - from the technical 'few' to the common skills of the 'many'.  For example; consider the review of our work at left and the case of another client below.

The Problem:
Imagine a company passing around an Excel list of the employee phone numbers. Each time someone changed their phone number or extension, the list had to be circulated again. Easy enough, it was passed via email - again and again and again.

However, the question soon became; "who's got the REAL number for so-and-so"?
"In my opinion, EdgeLearning.com is by far the most technically sophisticated and graphically appealing website in their industry. I am greatly impressed with their Browser Administratable Tools.

...On top of this, the layout is very clean...the navigation is very intuitive...the graphics are appealing and very tasteful. I can't believe you can accomplish both sides of the development so successfully
(both graphics and programming) making it a world class site! I am really impressed!"

The Application:
We built a web based company directory, book-marked on each employees' desk top. When a number changes, the employee updates it, and everyone in the company immediately has the new number, or picture, or title. Imagine the labor savings!

One list, authoritative and kept up-to-date by the people who use it - not an out-sourced programmer or overworked technical web master with a foot-deep pile of to-do's!
The Moral:
The Directory BAT had a 5:1 return on investment in the first year of use. It's the same with many of our BATs. They'll empower you to do the extraordinary;

  • You can command web tools that are productive, engaging and informative.

  • You can provide content from accounting or service software while you sleep.

  • The secretary or sales person in the field can run automated, preprogrammed and self-updating web sites with nothing more than a web browser - not an expensive Web Master - just a browser.

  • You can extend your productivity beyond your usual office hours and locations.
